- In 2003 we were awarded the The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Award – ‘Unsung Heroes’.
- We were shortlisted for the Guardian Awards in 2008.
- In 2009 we won the Kirklees Volunteer Award for ‘Organisation of the Year’ and also the Audit Commission Chairman’s Award.
- In 2015/16 we were chosen as Huddersfield Sainsburys’ Charity of the Year.
- What matters to us above all is recognition from our members and their families. A daughter recently told us, “Friend to Friend has literally transformed my mum’s life! You have put a spring back into her step.” One of our members, still living independently in her 90s, said, “I don’t know what I’d do without Friend to Friend!”
